چکیده

AIM: To investigate the aqueous vein in vivo by using enhanced depth imaging optical coherence tomography (EDI-OCT) and angiography (OCTA). METHODS: In this cross-sectional comparative study, 30 healthy participants were enrolled. Images of conjunctival veins captured EDI-OCT OCTA before after water loading. The area, height, width, location blood flow measured Image J software. RESULTS: static state, area was 8166.7±3272.7 μm2, which smaller than that (13 690±7457 P<0.001). mean density 35.3%±12.6%, significantly less (51.5%±10.6%, After loading, decreased from 8725.8±779.4 μm2 (baseline) to 7005.2±566.2 at 45min but rose 7863.0±703.2 60min (P=0.032). 41.2%±4.5% 35.4%±3.2% 30min returned 45.6%±3.6% (P=0.021). CONCLUSION: structure can be effectively evaluated OCT OCTA. These may become biological indicators evaluate changes outflow resistance under different interventions glaucoma patients.

Enhanced depth imaging optical coherence tomography.

Imaging the choroid with conventional commercial spectral-domain optical coherence tomography (SD-OCT) has been difficult, mainly because of difficulty in signal transmission beyond the retinal pigment epithelium. A recent modification to the standard technique, termed enhanced depth imaging optical coherence tomography (EDI-OCT), was able to image the choroid with reasonable clarity using comm...

Optical Coherence Tomography Angiography

Optical coherence tomography angiography (OCTA) is a noninvasive approach that can visualize blood vessels down to the capillary level. With the advent of high-speed OCT and efficient algorithms, practical OCTA of ocular circulation is now available to ophthalmologists. Clinical investigations that used OCTA have increased exponentially in the past few years. This review will cover the history ...

Optical coherence tomography angiography

Optical coherence tomography (OCT) was one of the biggest advances in ophthalmic imaging. Building on that platform, OCT angiography (OCTA) provides depth resolved images of blood flow in the retina and choroid with levels of detail far exceeding that obtained with older forms of imaging. This new modality is challenging because of the need for new equipment and processing techniques, current l...

Enhanced optical clearing of skin in vivo and optical coherence tomography in-depth imaging.

The strong optical scattering of skin tissue makes it very difficult for optical coherence tomography (OCT) to achieve deep imaging in skin. Significant optical clearing of in vivo rat skin sites was achieved within 15 min by topical application of an optical clearing agent PEG-400, a chemical enhancer (thiazone or propanediol), and physical massage. Only when all three components were applied ...
